What we deliver

Scope of work

Every engagement is scoped in writing before it starts. A typical engagement includes:

  • .NET Framework to .NET 10 migration with a clean-architecture scaffold
  • Platform adapter layers that isolate Windows-only dependencies such as WCF, MSMQ, WMI and DPAPI
  • Containerisation and deployment to AKS, GKE or self-managed Kubernetes
  • Data access modernisation with EF Core, NHibernate and PostgreSQL
  • OpenTelemetry observability from day one
  • Monolith-to-microservices transformation where it pays for itself
  • Retirement of obsolete client technologies such as Silverlight

What you get

Outcomes

  • Lower hosting cost and freedom to run on Linux
  • A codebase new engineers can work in
  • Business rules preserved and finally documented

Track record

Experience behind it

  • Led a .NET Framework 4.8 to .NET 10 modernisation onto Google Kubernetes Engine
  • Removed Silverlight and led a core module across legacy and next-generation systems at a major tax-services firm
  • Microservice transformations of EnterClinic and of a B2B education platform, the latter raising system reliability by 30 percent
  • Experience across every .NET generation, from Framework 2.0 to .NET 10

Technologies and frameworks

  • .NET 10
  • C#
  • EF Core
  • NHibernate
  • PostgreSQL
  • SQL Server
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • OpenTelemetry

FAQ

Common questions

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.

Do we have to rewrite everything?

Rarely. We prefer an incremental path: isolate platform dependencies, move to modern .NET, containerise, and only then decompose the parts that benefit from it.

Can a .NET Framework application run on Linux?

Once migrated to modern .NET, yes. Windows-only dependencies are isolated behind adapter layers and replaced with cross-platform equivalents.

How do you avoid breaking existing behaviour?

By characterising behaviour with tests before changing it, migrating in small verifiable steps, and comparing old and new systems side by side.
